While each project and its needs are unique, there are a few key steps that I follow consistently to ensure a strategic, meaningful solution for each project.
Discovery
Initial consultation or written briefing to learn about the project goals, scope, timeline, and audience.
01Research & strategy
Audit of the industry and competitive landscape, including a deeper look into opportunities for differentiation.
02Conceptualization
This is the design phase of the project—the time to explore rough ideas and come up with unique visual solutions.
03Refinement & revision
Based on feedback on the initial design concepts, this step includes revision and polishing of the selected designs.
04Delivery & implementation
Delivering final assets and guidelines, or in the case of digital projects, working with a developer to implement the designs.
